Welcome to the website of our Sail Yacht Heimdall!

Heimdall is a Luffe 45 which was built in years 2011 and 2012 at Luffe Yachts ApS, a small shipyard in Kolding/DK. Drawn by designer Oluf Jorgensen it was the 7th yacht of that kind and up to now 9 yachts of type Luffe 45 have been built in total (May 2013). On April 27th 2012 Heimdall was left to sea and transferred to the home harbor in Kiel-Schilksee where on May 26th 2012 the christening ceremony of Heimdall took place with its ship sponsor Antonia and a lot of our friends.

Over the coming years Heimdall will most likely remain in the North of Europe travelling along the North and Baltic Sea shores of Germany, all Scandinavian States, the Baltics, Poland and Russia. After a few years it will probably move south to travel across the Mediterranean Sea.

On this website we will share our trips and adventures with all our family, friends and colleagues who are interested to follow us. Since one always wants to know or select whom you are travelling with, we ask you to register yourself once so we know who is following us. After your registration you can access all detailed content like the recent position of Heimdall, our photos and a blog about our trips and adventures.
